    North East autism waiting lists highest in five years
The ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ has found out that wait times to be first seen by the NHS autism services for under 17 year olds in the North East and Cumbria, is at its highest level in five years.
This means that the North East is now the eighth worst region in England for people waiting to be assessed. Emilie and Cárá now work at local Norton-based charity 'Daisy Chain Project' and have been telling us about their own experiences with the 'wait list'
