Jockey 'in critical care' after Pitchcroft fall
Amateur jockey Lauren Keen-Hawkins fell in a handicap hurdle at Worcester Racecourse, receiving a serious head injury, with screens put up whilst she was attended to.
She was riding Faerie Cutlass in the 2m4f handicap hurdle. The Injured Jockeys Fund said she was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham after her fall.
