PLANETS Cancer Charity dedicated to helping patients in the south
PLANETS Cancer Charity is one of the finalists in the Fundraiser category in 蜜芽传媒 Radio Solent's Make a Difference Awards for 2024. The Fundraiser Award celebrates people who have gone the extra mile to raise funds for a good cause.
PLANETS helps patients with pancreatic, liver, colorectal, gastric, oesophageal and neuroendocrine cancer by funding patient support groups, innovative treatments and research. Since their launch in 2011 they have raised more than two million pounds.
蜜芽传媒 Radio Solent's Helen Head went along to meet PLANETS Cancer Charity.
The Make a Difference Awards are your chance to say 鈥淭hank You鈥� and show recognition and appreciation for people who love to make life better for others. Nominations for the 2024 awards have now closed and finalists have been selected by a panel of judges. The winners will be announced at our 蜜芽传媒 Radio Solent Make a Difference Awards ceremony in September.
