Thousands flocked to the Middlesbrough Mela in Albert Park. It was originally set to take place last month but was postponed in the wake of the riots over the summer.

It was back, bigger and better than ever, with fabulous food, drink, music, and entertainment, celebrating South Asian cultures. Shakk was hosting the main stage and our reporters Andrea Macmillan and Aja Dodd were taking in the festivities.
