Five million steps, twelve months, one cause
Fenton-born John Smallman is spending 2024 taking on a series of hiking challenges to raise money for the Douglas Macmillan Hospice, as he aims to reach five million steps by the end of the year.
With eight months completed, he has already taken on mountain climbs and marathon runs, and has his sights set on the Potters ‘Arf in the coming weeks.
ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Stoke’s Lee Blakeman caught up with John to get an update on his progress.
