Outbreak of deadly parvovirus detected in Warwickshire dogs
A case of parvovirus was confirmed at the Dogs Trust site in Kenilworth. The highly contagious disease causes diarrhoea and vomiting and can be spread through direct contact but also via infected faeces or in the ground. Parvovirus does not pose a risk to humans. ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ CWR's Phil Upton spoke to Paula Boyden from the Dog's Trust and Steve Constantinou who lost his puppy to the virus.
