Birkenhead Park gets an "upgrade"?
Wirral Council plans to spend £1.5M on Birkenhead Park’s upgrade to enhance its historic charm and support a bid for UNESCO World Heritage status.
Nearly £1M will rejuvenate the park, with the remainder funding the UNESCO application.
