A community organisation in Coalville has won the backing of the rock legend Brian Eno as it works to buy the freehold of a building to use as its headquarters.

A new foundation headed by Brian Eno - one of the founding members of Roxy Music - is giving 拢30,000 to Coalville CAN, which brings together local people and organisations to boost the town and surrounding area.

The group needs to raise more than 拢400,000 to secure the building which is near the town's famous clock tower.
