The TV presenter and former hockey star spoke to 5 Live鈥檚 Rachel Burden about the contrast between winning gold medals and competing on the dance floor.

She said: 鈥淲hen you're an Olympian or even when you go on to win a gold medal, you carry that title which is amazing. But I also have to take myself down a notch or two and think actually that was eight years ago.鈥�

Asked about Strictly lasting two decades, she said: 鈥漃eople get so much joy, so much excitement, it brings people together and everyone has a different experience鈥�.To be going that long says something about the show.鈥�
