Why will the M27 be quieter from next year?
Resurfacing is under way on the M27 in Hampshire as part of a two year roadwork project.
The motorway was built in the 1970s with cheaper and noisier concrete, the section between Eastleigh and Hedge End is the last to be resurfaced with a quieter and smoother surface.
ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ South’s transport correspondent Paul Clifton, explained the work's progress, as well as the history and impact of the motorway to ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ presenter Lucy Ambache.
