Many parents see their children as the healthy ones in the family, but some kids suffer from heart issues without anyone knowing.

Hereford mum Andrea Joyce, whose son died from an undiagnosed heart condition in 2019, has since campaigned for young people to be screened for abnormalities through the charity Cardiac Risk in the Young.

Her efforts have now received a significant boost from the family of Herefordshire footballer Jarrod Bowen. His sister was diagnosed with a heart condition through the charity's screenings, and he donated a signed England shirt that was recently auctioned.
