Why do murders at home face a decade less in jail?
The mum and dad of a woman murdered in Leicestershire want longer sentences for people who carry out murders in the home.
Megan Newborough was killed in Coalville in 2021 by Ross McCullum, a man she met at work.
Her parents Elaine and Anthony have already set up a foundation in Megan's name to support women who are victims of violence. They are now supporting a campaign that aims to bring in tougher sentences.
The government's told us that “They recognises there is more to be done on this important issue and is committed to halving violence against women and girls within a decade.”
Elaine and Anthony shared their story with Ady Dayman.
