A Liverpool comedy club got into hot water when comedian Lucy Beaumont questioned why there were so few females on line-ups at comedy clubs.

Liverpool's Hot Water Comedy based at Blackstock Market in Bootle was brought into the debate.

They've now launched a brand-new weekly female only night.
