Leicester Lions reach historic Speedway final
For the first time in a century, Leicester Lions speedway riders were in touching distance of the top flight title.
It was always going to be a tough test for Stewart Dickson's team, who had to overturn an 18 point deficit from the first leg, but unfortuntaly the Lions couldn't overturn the deficit and lost with the final score being Lions 41 Belle Vue 49.
Leicester Lions club historian Alan Jones explained why the night was an important moment in the club's history, while ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Leicester's Jorja Blomfield spoke to fans at the ground.
