Eight-year-old Noah meets his hero, bestselling author of the Tom Gates series of children鈥檚 books Liz Pichon, for the first time.

They met on Naga Munchetty鈥檚 programme and Noah said that it was 鈥渟uper exciting鈥� that he was able to meet Liz.

鈥淚 never thought I鈥檇 ever get to see her in real life鈥�, Noah added.

Liz Pichon ran a competition with a children鈥檚 newspaper to find a new budding funny author. Superfan Noah won the competition, and his story has been illustrated by Liz herself, and included in the Tom Gates: Five Star Stories paperback.

Noah said he loves writing 鈥渁 ton of stories鈥� and his favourite types of stories are 鈥渁dventure stories鈥�.
