Coventry Council tax may rise
The City Council budget shortfall works out to more than 10% of its overall budget, and equates to £85 per person. Coventry City Council have also revealed that their core spending power is below the national average. Councillor Richard Brown, cabinet member for Strategic Finance and Resources, told ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ CWR's Phil Upton that he can't see any other way to break the shortfall than council tax rising.
