Gemma Whittle from Hinckley sadly lost her two year old son Reggie in November 2023, following unexpected complications after a hip operation.

But from the darkness Gemma has managed to create some light, writing and illustrating a book in which she talks about seeking the glimmers in life to help other people see through times of feeling sad.

Gemma told 蜜芽传媒 Leicester's Ben Jackson how writing 'The Boy with the Magic Smile' was inspired by her beautiful baby boy.
