Leicester gym taking a stand against knife crime
Keeping young people away from knife crime in Leicester is one of the aims of a boxing and martial arts gym in the city which arms young people with the skills of self discipline and self control.
Across Leicestershire this year to 1st October 2024 there have been more than 1,500 incidents of arrests in which a bladed article was involved.
Charlie O'Neil from 1st Legion Gym in Leicester told ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Leicester's Kevin Ncube that there are complex reasons why young people are drawn into knife crime.
