66-year-old Ian Phillipson says the Midlands Today presenter's story has saved his life, becoming inspired by the broadcaster's own prostate cancer journey.
The Herefordshire resident was diagnosed with the disease in its early stages, and now credits Nick Owen, his 'prostate pal', with keeping him alive.
