Cheadle crossroads: 'A matter of importance and urgency'
A crossroads in Cheadle, by The Huntsman pub, where the A521 meets Draycott Cross Road and Brookhouse Road, is becoming notorious for crashes. Staffordshire county councillor Mark Deaville says the most important priority is road safety and the crossroads are a matter of massive importance and urgency. They plan to add advance warning signs and slow markings at the junction. The Huntsman pub landlord Connor Devine says there has always been a lot of crashes there so it's about time something was done.
