'Diwali is not cancelled' say business owners
Businesses on Belgrave Road say they are feeling the effects of this year's 'scaled back' Diwali.
Leicester City Council had cancelled the annual Diwali lights switch-on event, although celebrations are going ahead on the big day itself.
But some business owners say that they have noticed a quieter build up in trade.
ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Leicester's Matt Smith went to Belgrave road to speak to business owners, and Shivani Raja, the Conservative MP for Leicester East who campaigned for the light switch on to be saved, spoke to Ady Dayman.
