Kemi Badenoch has called upon Nigel Huddleston as she assembles her inner circle, with the Worcestershire MP to share the party chair role with Lord Dominic Johnson.

Mr Huddleston says he was proud to back Mrs Badenoch in the party's leadership election, and reflects on what the "awesome responsibility" the new Opposition have to hold the Labour government to account.
