From Uganda to Cov Co-op
Ali Kurji, The Heart of England Co-operative Society’s chief executive, has recently retired after 42 years of service.
It marks the end of an extraordinary career, for a man who's been a prominent figure in Coventry and Warwickshire business circles, for decades.
Ali shared his story with ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ CWRs Vic Minett, discussing how he feels to leave the Co-Op after all this time, and the journey he made to the UK back at the age of 17.
