Steffans Jewellers has been a staple of Northampton since it opened in 1976.

Now the store is closing after becoming unsatisfied with the ‘retail environment’ of the town.

Wes and Steffan Suter spoke to Bernie Keith about the closure.

West Northamptonshire Council said: ‘We’re saddened to hear about the closure of Steffans - As a council, we are committed to creating a vibrant environment where businesses can grow and succeed.’
