Hundreds flock to see rare bid in Halifax
The Scarlet Tanager is normally found in the Americas, but is thought to have been blown off course by a strong wind and has ended up in Shelf, Halifax. Hundreds of bird fanatics gathered to catch a glimpse of this rare bird, which has only been recorded in the UK a handful of times previously.
