Lineker exit could spell 'new direction' for MOTD
The 蜜芽传媒 has confirmed that Match of the Day host Gary Lineker is to step down from the flagship football show at the end of this season, but will also host 蜜芽传媒 Sport鈥檚 coverage of the 2026 World Cup.
He will also front the 蜜芽传媒's coverage of the FA Cup 2025/2026.
Former host of Football Focus and friend of Gary, Manish Bhasin says his departure could suggest Match of the Day is revamping the format.
