Blackhall Korea War rifleman identified
After a six-year investigation, four British soldiers killed in the Korean War have eventually been identified ending a 73-year mystery.
One man who now has a named grave is Rifleman Mark Foster from Blackhall in County Durham.
He and the other men were buried for decades in unmarked graves in Korea’s United Nations cemetery - and are the first unknown British soldiers killed in the conflict to be successfully identified.
Jean Mackenzie reports.
