Newly unearthed audio of The Beatles
When Piers Hemmingsen, a retired computer programmer from Toronto, began researching his book on ‘The Beatles in Canada’, he unearthed a tape that brought him up close to the Fab Four, one hot afternoon in August 1965 in Toronto’s Maple Leaf Gardens arena. Weekend's Julian Worricker asked Piers Hemmingsen how he came to acquire this Beatles bootleg.
