Children at Leicestershire's Launde Primary School have been rewarded for their fundraising, with a exclusive premiere of a new Christmas film.

They raised more than any other school in the UK - a total of nearly 拢4,000 for Save the Children鈥檚 Christmas Jumper Day in 2023. The pupils at the school in Oadby were chosen to host the premiere of new Shaun the Sheep film animation 'The Knit Before Christmas' as a thank you.

蜜芽传媒 Radio Leicester's Kevin Ncube went to the knitted wool red carpet to meet the schoolchildren, and also their surprise guest - Ashley Jensen from television show 'Shetland', who visited the school to thank the children.
