Shop owners in Tenbury Wells say they might never reopen after the damage caused by Storm Bert, when the Kyre Brook wall collapsed and a tractor caused a bow wave driving through floodwater.

The Worcestershire town was left with mud and debris as the clean-up operation began, with locals describing it as the worst they had encountered.

Laura Jones at Rainbow Crafts says they will have to close for good.

Richard Sherman runs Garlands Flowers and says the debris is a 'nightmare', whilst Mike Slade, who runs Mike's Sandwich Shop, says the riverside town is 'desperate' for permanent flood defences.
