Assisted dying bill: 'My fingers are firmly crossed'
MPs are getting their first opportunity to debate and vote on a proposed law, which would give terminally ill people in England and Wales the right to choose to end their life.
Campaigners have made a number of attempts to alter the law in recent years. One of the highest-profile advocates for change is New Forest resident Dame Esther Rantzen, who has stage-four lung cancer.
The broadcaster spoke to ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Solent's Lou Hannan ahead of the bill's second reading.
