'It's nice to play a tournament in your home city'
Some of the biggest names in snooker are in Leicester this week as the city plays host to the 2024 Snooker Shoot Out tournament.
The tournament is being played using a variation of the traditional snooker rules. All matches are played over a single frame, each of which are against the clock, lasting up to 10 minutes. The games are short, and anything can happen.
Leicestershire lad Louis Heathcote is among those who will be battling against the clock. Tom Ford and Joe O'Connor will also both be cheered on in front of a home crowd.
And the 'Jester from Leicester' himself is also in town to take part. Mark Selby, who hails from New Parks, has been talking to ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Leicester's Summaya Mughal.
