Chesney Hawkes dedicates single to Cerne Abbas friend
Vic Irvine, of Cerne Abbas Brewery, and Chesney Hawkes have been friends since their school days.
In 2021, Vic was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer, which is considered incurable. In spite of it all, Vic remains full of life and vitality, and it was this reputation which caused Chesney to think of his friend when writing his new single 'Live Forever'.
The pair joined Radio Solent's Steve Harris to discuss the new song and their friendship through the peaks and troughs.
