Female pilot’s WWII bravery remembered at last
Air cadets from Oxfordshire are joining forces with the Royal British Legion to create a permanent and fitting memorial to a brave female pilot who lost her life in July 1944.
Her story has largely remained untold, until a young air cadet from Kingham started researching her story.
