Kevin Sinfield ends day 6 of MND run in Leicester
Rugby league legend Kevin Sinfield has finished the penultimate day of his charity challenge to raise funds for six Motor Neurone Disease (MND) charities.
Kevin Sinfield finished day 6 of the 50km (31-mile) run at Welford Road in Leicester, where he played during his rugby career. He'd started the day by setting off from the MND Association headquarters in Northampton.
The ex-England international is running 50km a day for seven consecutive days in memory of friend and team-mate Rob Burrow, who died of MND in June.
At a planned stop in the village of Fleckney, ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Leicester reporter Sara Palmer heard the latest from Kevin on his progress to Leicester, and when he reached Welford Road reporter Simon Ward asked Kevin how he was feeling for the last part of the challenge.
