Steve Wright: A life well lived
In this episode of our 5 Minutes On podcast with Kirsty Wark, his friend and colleague, the radio DJ Gary Davies, has been sharing his memories of Steve.
Steve Wright joined the ѿý in the 1970s and went on to present programmes for Radio 1 and Radio 2 for more than four decades, as well as fronting television programmes like top of the pops. He was maybe best known for his Radio 2 Afternoon show, 'The Big Show', which he presented from 1999 until September 2022.
Steve Wright died in February 2024 at the age of 69. In this episode of our 5 Minutes On podcast, his friend and colleague, the radio DJ Gary Davies, has been sharing his memories of this 'broadcasting giant' with the ѿý's Kirsty Wark.
