'I've got to the point where I don't know what else to do'
The Chief Executive of the Diocese of Hereford says he was left with 'no choice' but to resign from the body that oversees children's services in the county.
Sam Pratley has stepped down from Herfordshire Council's Children and Young People Scrutiny Committee, which is mainly made up of elected councillors.
He says being on the committee no longer feels productive, and speaks to Tammy Gooding.
A spokesman from Herefordshire Council told the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½: "We would not comment on the reasons why a committee member may choose to resign."
