Flu cases rise in Coventry and Warwickshire
Flu season is upon us, and several hospitals across the UK have extended wait times.
Hospital trusts in Liverpool and Birmingham declared critical incidents because of pressures linked to quadrupling cases of flu and localised flooding.
ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½C CWR's Phil Upton spoke with Dr. Sarah Pitt, a virologist from the University of Brighton, as well as Andy Hardy, chief executive of the University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust, regarding the increase in cases.
