What kind of entertainment venue does Stoke-on-Trent need?
Stoke-on-Trent City Council wants to amplify the city’s potential to become a live music and events destination. There had been plans for a 3-thousand-plus seater venue in the centre of Hanley but they were shelved. Now the authority is again considering ways to boost the city's entertainment appeal. Music promoter Mike Lloyd has looked at what Stoke-on-Trent needs and believes the answer is a mid-sized venue.
