Leicestershire Fire and Rescue and East Midlands Ambulance service have stood down their major incident following the flooding of the past few days.

On Monday, as flash flooding brought many places to a standstill with roads closed and people having to be rescued from their homes, all the emergency services declared a major incident. On Thursday, 19 flood warnings remain in place.
