ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ appeal collecting hygiene items for those in need
Thousands of people across Hampshire, Dorset and the Isle of Wight are affected by hygiene poverty, with the increased cost of living meaning some families are going without simple necessities like soap, toothpaste and personal care products.
Throughout January, ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Solent is helping collect donated toiletries and cleaning products, for community schemes and charities to distribute to those who need them.
ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Solent's Lucy Ambache has been speaking to Councillor Roz Chadd, the Executive Lead Member for Children’s Services at Hampshire County Council, about hygiene poverty.
You can donate unopened items to the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Solent Soapbox Appeal at drop off locations across Hampshire, Dorset and the Isle of Wight, there's a full list on the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Solent Make a Difference page.
