Street artist Megan Russell, also known as Peachzz, has been nominated for Street Art Cities’ best mural in the world 2024.
If you walk through Pounds Park in Sheffield, you might spot her colourful mural called ‘Reverie’, featuring a 25-metre tall heron and a kingfisher.
Megan spent up to 12 hours a day for 10 days painting to create it.
She joined Nuala McGovern on Woman’s Hour to discuss the process of painting at such a scale and how it feels to be nominated.
You can listen to the full interview on ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Sounds – it’s the Woman’s Hour episode from 13 January.
