'I've not had a full prescription for a year'

The number of ADHD patients seeking private prescriptions has increased by 576% due to difficulties in getting medication on the NHS. In 2024, there were 2,224 private prescriptions issued for ADHD drugs in Teesside, County Durham and North Yorkshire.
