Ryan Tongue has gone from working in the Worcester weighing room to entering his horse in a million-dollar race, and can take credit for discovering 2024's Grand National winner.

The faithful city native tells Felicity Kvesic how he bought and then sold I Am Maximus to JP McManus, as well as looking after legends of the sport, including AP McCoy as a teenager, who he says loved scampi with a bit of mayonnaise, and had a box of celebrations after races.

Ryan became a jockey, and moved in to racing management shortly after, to significant success.
