London exhibition celebrates emo culture
Defined by its music, fashion and sense of emotional distress, emo culture peaked in the 2000s with bands like My Chemical Romance and their hit 'Welcome To The Black Parade' taking it mainstream.
Now an exhibition at London's Barbican centre is showcasing emo culture. It's titled 'I'm Not Okay: An Emo Retrospective'.
James Coomarasamy went to see it and was shown around by its curator Jamie Brett.
