300 year old ring found in field
The ring was dug out of the ground by Anthony Woolmington in a field near Shillingstone in Dorset.
The gold ring is a 'mourning ring' which commemorates a loss personal to the owner and is engraved with a death date and initials.
It's estimated to be over 300 years old and could fetch hundreds at auction in February.
