Ambulance service apologises 'unreservedly' for distress
The North East Ambulance Service has 'unreservedly' apologised for the 'distress' it's caused the family of a man from Redcar.
Andrew Watson died after waiting more than an hour for an ambulance.
An internal report found Andrew could have survived if an ambulance attended sooner.
The trust has admitted full details of Andrew's care were not initially shared with his family or the coroner.
A warning this report from our investigations team is distressing from the start.
Megan Paterson reports.
