The city's first female running group is celebrating a year of uniting local women, keeping them fit, and providing a safe space to go running.

Girlies That Run started off with just a handful of people on its first run, back in January 2024. They now have 2,400 members on Facebook and 60 women ran the group's largest event to date.

Lillian Istance and Helen Massey tell Kalpana Boodhoo, outside the gates of Hereford Cathedral, where their ambitions lie for 2025, and why they would throw their weight behind a men's only running group.
