Bird flu in Shropshire
A million hens will have to be humanely culled at a farm near Wem after a strain of the virus that causes high rates of death in infected birds was detected.
Steve Cross runs Shropshire Falconry who offer falconry experiences and displays and also take in injured birds. This has all all had to temporarily stop as they're based inside a protection zone, not far from the affected farm.
Steve told ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Shropshire's Adam Green he's 'devastated'.
