Loughborough's 'Aladdin's cave of things'
A charity has launched a new type of library - and there is not a book in sight.
The shelves of The Library of Things are stocked with items that can be borrowed for a set time at low cost. Based in Loughborough, the library offers a variety of tools, DIY supplies, decorations and electronic goods.
The service aims to reduce individual purchases of rarely used goods and the amount of items going to landfill, while encouraging sharing in the community.
